What is NLP?

NLP is widely used in sport, business and beyond to bring about positive change.

NLP stands for Neuro Linguistic Programming:

• Neuro - Your mind and the way you process your thoughts
• Linguistic - Your communication (verbal and non-verbal)
• Programming - Your patterns of behaviour

NLP is a collection of models, tools and techniques to explore new ways of thinking, feeling and behaving. It works to build the relationship between the conscious and unconscious mind to reprogramme these thoughts, feelings and behaviours, which all directly affect each other.

Each person has a unique style of learning, perceiving and responding to the world. How do you do what you do? How do you know what you know? How do you know that a good feeling is good? How do you know when to feel anxious or confident? How do you know that you like or dislike something? NLP can help to show you how you construct your inner world from your outside world and give it meaning.
